Keith Barker Hampshire

Case outcome: Keith Barker

The National Anti-Doping Panel has imposed a twelve-month suspension on Hampshire CCC cricketer Keith Barker after a hearing on 5 March 2025.

Mr Barker tested positive for a prohibited substance – Indapamide – and was provisionally suspended by the Cricket Regulator in July 2024 and was formally charged with two anti-doping rule violations under the ECB Anti-Doping Rules.

Mr Barker admitted the charges, and the Panel accepted that Mr Barker had no intention to breach the Anti-Doping Rules.

As the twelve-month suspension was backdated to July 2024, Mr Barker will be free to play cricket again from July 4, 2025.
